Dry Out East
High pressure will briefly build in today before fading away this evening. Most of us will stay dry today with a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms west of Abilene around dinnertime up through early tonight. Some of the storms may try to move east, but will weaken as they do so. Highs today will be in the upper 80’s with a high muggy feel. Lows tonight will be in the 70’s. The heat is on tomorrow with a slight chance for storms north of I-20. Majority of the active weather will stay north of I-20 and north of the Big Country this weekend.
