KTAB Regional Forecast Western Big Country: AM May 23rd, 2014

Rain Develops
Good Friday morning, rain is likely for the western half of the state of Texas today. Highs will be in the upper 70’s throughout the Big Country with periods of rain likely, especially this afternoon. It will also be muggy today with dewpoints in the 60’s. Severe chance is there, localized flooding will be the main concern. Not looking at a major severe weather outbreak, but more good rain than anything. Saturday will be wet as well with mostly cloudy skies, highs in the upper 70’s, and rounds of rain. Keep in mind not all of us will get wet each day, but this is a slow moving system, so we have several chances to pick up the rain.
