May Falls to Top Ranked Crowell in Title Game

It would be the Wildcats that struck first on Saturday afternoon at AT&T Stadium with a touchdown pass from Mitchell Parsley to Nathan Moya. That would give Crowell an early 6-0 lead.

May would respond though with a touchdown pass of their own from Issac Williams to Brant Harris. After converting on the extra-point, the Tigers would take a 8-6 lead.

The Wildcats would soon take control with a touchdown run by Jared Brown to put Crowell on top by the count of 14-8.

Crowell would continue to pull away in the first half, and build a 40 point advantage in the second half.

Then a couple unanswered touchdowns by May would prevent Crowell from winning by the 45 point rule, but the damage had already been done.

Crowell would hang on for a 78-52 victory, and become the first team to ever win a six-man state title at AT&T stadium.
