The McMurry War Hawks are going through another season of transition in athletics.

McMurry abandoned their effort to become a member of NCAA Division II, and are returning to Division III and are returning to the American Southwest Conference.

Before they can return to the ASC, they must honor their obligation to the Lone Star Conference this season.

The offense is in good hands with the return Gabe Rodriquez who threw for over 3,200 yards and 43 touchdowns. Greg Livingston is back to catch more passes from Rodriquez. He set a school record in 2013 with 97 catches.

The War Hawks are scheduled to play just 3 games at Moore Stadium this season. They open the new season down in Houston against Houston Baptist.
