More CPS Workers Disciplined In Connection with Klapheke Investigation

Two  employees at the Texas Dept. of Family and Protective Services (CPS) have been put on resigned in connection to the Tiffany Klapheke case.
Two  employees at the Texas Child Protective Services (CPS) have been put on resigned in connection to the Tiffany Klapheke case.

According to Patrick Crimmins, a CPS spokesperson, CPS Investigative Supervisor Tiffany Gann has left her job after it was discovered that she had an inappropriate relationship with Thomas Klapheke, Tiffanny Klapheke's husband last fall.  

This happened almost ten months after the Klapheke's three children were rushed to the hospital because of neglect, as a result, their 22-month-old daughter Tamryn Klapheke died on Aug. 28 2012 from dehydration and malnutrition.

Another resigned because of this situation and two more have been disciplined.

Four others, including Regions 2 and 9 director Bit Whitaker and CPS program manager Geneva Schroeder are still being investigated in connection with possible tampering in the case.  

Tiffany Klapheke was indicted last week for on one count of of injury to a child.

If convicted, she could face up to 99 years in prison.
