With the Six-Man state championship games just a couple days away, the UIL announced on Tuesday that AT&T Stadium will enforce new security policies for high school events.

The rules that will be enforced are the same the NFL put into place before this season. That means all purses or bags smaller than a small clutch bag will not be allowed into the stadium.

Prohibited bags include (but are not limited too):
  • Backpacks
  • Binocular Case (binoculars can be worn around the neck)
  • Camera Bags
  • Cinch Bags
  • Computer Bags
  • Coolers
  • Diaper Bags
  • Fanny Packs
  • Luggage of any kind
  • Seat Cushions
Clear totes no bigger than 12"x6"x12" and resealable plastic bags no bigger than one gallon will be allowed into the stadium

According to the UIL noisemakers also fall under the new bag policy. Cowbells for example will be inspected, but jugs filled with rocks (or other objects) will not be allowed.

Attached is a photo that depicting what is acceptable, and what is not under the new bag policy.
