'Night Under the Stars'

Who says you need a large crowd to have a good time? A concert benefiting a local organization went on as planned, despite the small turnout.
The 'Night Under the Stars' benefit concert was held tonight in Buffalo Gap.
Proceeds from the event went to the Big Country area chapter of Special Olympics Texas.
It was the organization's first time holding such an event.
Texas-based bands, 'Silver Lining' and 'Belle Plain Revival' volunteered to perform.
But they didn't play their music in front of a large crowd as organizers expected.
Instead, the concert generated a small turnout.
With only a few people in the crowd, the event went on anyways.
Spirits were still high and organizers remained positive as the first band took the stage.
A small amount of money was raised for the cause.
The Big Country Area chapter hopes to hold more concerts and other fundraising events in the future, and volunteers hope the community will come out to support their cause.
