Offensive Line Pushes Cougars to Victory

The Cougars offensive line continued to push opponents backwards again last week.
The Cougars offensive line continued to push opponents backwards again last week.

Head coach Todd Moebes' offense piled up 377 yards on the ground with 5 rushing touchdowns in the Cougars victory over Midland High. Other Cooper offensive lines have been good, but this bunch is doing what they want on every play against every team.

"They're playing well together. Those five guys have to work together. They've all got to be on the same page. They're playing with great leverage, and doing a good job of  being able to get to the second level. When being able to get the initial contact at the line of scrimmage, and then being able to get to the second level. Certainly that creates some great creases for our running backs to be able to find, and be able to get to the second and third level quickly," said head coach Todd Moebes.

The Cougars are back at home this week for their 8th game of the season. They host Tascosa. The Rebels just beat San Angelo Central.
