Forty-four applicants from across Texas, including Oklahoma arrived at The Station throughout Saturday. Samantha Barton says she loves the show and couldn't miss the opportunity knowing the auditions were held in Abilene.
"I'm surprised they brought it here," Barton said. "My strategy if I was on the show is to flow under the radar."
People such as Justin Bradley drove hours to be a part of the audition. Bradley believes he can be a well-rounded cast member.
"I feel like this is an opportunity for me to learn about myself," says Bradley. "I have a Master's degree and a personal trainer."
The show takes strangers from around the country and place them in one house as they compete for $500,000. Cameras are placed throughout the house, watching every move the contestants make.
