Family members say they're still anxiously awaiting to see if remains found just outside of Rising Star are those of Amber Christensen Lowery. DNA tests had been done on the remains found late July. Amber Lowery went missing July 23rd.

Her husband, Michael Lowery, was arrested a week later, charged with murder.

The family says law enforcement has been searching the property still, which they believe is due to the condition of the remains that were found. There has also been a scuba team searching nearby bodies of water, as recently as last week.

The family says they have been told what condition the remains were found in, which they say explains the continued search. They would not disclose any further information.
