The Cooper Cougars failed to end their four game losing streak against the second place San Angelo Bobcats.

Cooper would threaten to get on the board in the bottom of the first with runners on first and second with no outs. Then Bobcats pitcher Davis Martin would strike out the next three Coogs in order to keep the game scoreless.

Johnathan Nicholson would help keep the Cougars in the game with a strike out in the second inning, but San Angelo Central would bring home their first run a short time later.

Central would go on to score two more runs and hold off Cooper for a 3-0 victory. The Cougars now fall to 3-6 in district ahead of their Saturday road match-up with Lubbock Coronado.
