Home invasions may not be on the rise in Abilene, and the chances of being involved in one are small, but Abilene police chief, Stan Standridge wants residents to be aware of what to do if targeted.
In a press conference held today, Abilene police chief Stan Standridge attempted to silence the concerns of some residents concerning home invasions possibly being on the rise in Abilene. Chief Standridge says that isn't the case. But says while the crime is rare, it's still important for residents to set a plan of action in case a home invasion occurs.
