Subway Employees Held at Gunpoint Friday

Two Subway employees in north Abilene were reportedly held at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

According to an incident report, an armed suspect came in the restaurant on North 1st and demanded money. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. No customers were in the store at the time, according to an employee.

The two employees handed the money from the cash register to the suspect in a bag. They called 911, but the suspect already fled the scene.

The suspect is wanted on one count of aggravated robbery with a gun. If anyone has information to call police at (325) 676-TIPS, 676-8477.
