The heavy rains this past week caused an increase in lake levels all across the Big Country. But along with a rise in water, accumulation of debris has also occurred.

The debris over-flowed from rivers that filled with rain water. Although they may look harmless, like sticks or small logs, their pointy edges could potentially sink your boat.

It happened last week on Lake Fort Phantom Hill, and if boaters don't look carefully, they may miss the debris.
