The Development Corporation of Abilene is seeking a new CEO.
The search is on for a new chief executive officer of the Development Corporation of Abilene. DCOA uses Abilene's half cents sales tax to develop new jobs.

For the past 10 years, CEO Richard Burdine has been attracting new businesses to Abilene, and working with existing business for economic development.

Burdine will stay on the job while the nationwide search for a new CEO is underway. The DCOA has approved spending $45,000 for a company to conduct the search for the right candidate.

Burdine has been selling Abilene to potential employers for several years. KTAB's Victor Sotelo spoke with Burdine and asked what is Abilene's biggest selling point?
