The city will soon be receiving over 10 million dollars to fund alternative water supplies.
Residents in Ballinger react to the new water project that was approved by the Texas Water Development Board.
According to the Texas Water Development Board website, the city of Ballinger will receive a 10 million dollar loan for help with several water projects.
"I think it's a good idea, but I'm sure my property taxes will go up," said Dorothy Freeman, a Ballinger resident and business owner.
