The people of Brownwood can expect to see a new grocery store in town very soon.
Early Monday morning members of the United Family Leadership Team joined Brownwood community leaders to break ground at the site of the company's new location.

The supermarket will be located at 300 West Commerce, the former home of Bruner Auto.

"Brownwood just feels like us", said Sidney Hopper the COO of The United Family "we have the good fortune of operating in a lot of West Texas cities and it just felt like the folks here and everybody that we have come in contact with were just folks that we are accustomed to being a part of."

This is United Supermarket's second project this year and citizens of Brownwood may be getting more than they expected with the new store.
