Wichita Falls has now begun to use recycled waste water, now the idea might sound gross at first, but some say it's necessary to think outside of the box in this drought. Abilene is also looking to follow in their footsteps, with the help of Big Spring's waste water treatment plant.
Wichita Falls has now begun to use recycled waste water, now the idea might sound gross at first, but some say it's necessary to think outside of the box in this drought. Abilene is also looking to follow in their footsteps, with the help of Big Spring's waste water treatment plant.

The first day the Wichita Falls plant was open the treated around six million gallons of water, by the next day they were treating around ten million gallons of water a day.
