Wylie found the endzone on their first drive of the night with a touchdown run by senior running back Hayden Lewis. That put the Bulldogs up 7-0 early.
The Bulldogs looked to be in business after a three-and-out by the Snyder offense. Then on a screen-pass Colby Awalt was stripped and the Tigers recovered.
That jumps started their offense, which marched right down the field, and quarterback Skillet Rinehart punched it in for a touchdown. That tied the game at seven a piece.
Wylie would respond late in the first half with a touchdown run by Awalt to take a 13-7 lead. The Tigers would block the extra point and return it for a safety.
Before halftime the Tigers would add a touchdown as well to take a 16-13 lead at the break.
The Bulldogs on the other hand would shutdown the Tiger offense in the second half, and pick a 28-16 victory.
At the same time, the Sweetwater Mustangs upset Monahans on Friday night, and opened the door for a three-way tie atop the district heading into the final week.
