DCOA Votes to Offer Incentives to Plastic Company

The Development Corporation of Abilene voted Tuesday afternoon to offer incentives to a plastic company hoping to move operations into Abilene.

The Development Corporation of Abilene (DCOA) voted Tuesday afternoon to offer $6.2 million in assistance to a company that wants to move operations into Abilene.

The company, which is yet unnamed until the company decides to accept the offer, hopes to add about 90 full-time and will be housed in the west Abilene business park.

The new company would be the second plastic food container manufacturer located in the Five Points Business Park.
