Dragons Make Their Debut, Nine Teams Ranked by Harris Ratings

For the first time this season, the Bangs Dragons make their debut in the Harris Ratings. Thus bringing the grand total of Big Country teams ranked to nine.
For the first time this season, the Bangs Dragons make their debut in the Harris Ratings. Thus bringing the grand total of Big Country teams ranked to nine.

Three of those teams come from Class 2A. The Eastland Mavericks are the highest ranked in division one at number nine. The Bangs Dragons enter the poll at number 23 after their third straight win and district opening victory over Grape Creek on Friday.

The Cisco Loboes remain at number two in division two after a convincing victory over the Stamford Bulldogs; who drop a spot to number three this week in Class 1A division one.

District rival Anson moves up a spot to number four this week after their win over Class 2A Coleman on Friday night.

The biggest move of the week comes from Goldthwaite. The Eagles jump to number 13 this week after beating previously top ranked Mart last week.

Three teams are also ranked in division two, and once again this week the Albany Lions remain at the number five spot. The Hamlin Pied Pipers jump to number 15 after a district opening win over Roby. Meanwhile Munday continues to slide down the polls to number 21.
