Abilene Christian University announced Tuesday morning that some of the stars of the A&E reality TV show Duck Dynasty will be coming to Abilene for an event benefiting Global Samaritan Resources, and Abilene Christian Schools.

The event will be hosted by Abilene Christian University at ACU's Moody Coliseum on Sunday, April 13, at 7 p.m.

Outdoorsman, duck call maker and part-time preacher Silas "Uncle Si" Robertson will be joined by new cast members Alan and Lisa Robertson. The couple ministered at the White's Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La., for more than 20 years before recently joining family members on the hit series.

The first season of Duck Dynasty, a reality television series on A&E that follows the lives and family business of the Robertsons, premiered in March 2012. Now in its fourth season, the show revolves around the operation of Duck Commander, a backwoods shop making duck calls that has become a multimillion-dollar enterprise, and the tight-knit Southern family behind it.

A record of nearly 12 million viewers - the largest audience ever for a non-fiction show on cable TV - recently saw Alan's debut during the first episode of Season 4 in which he officiated at his parents' wedding ceremony re-enactment on the 50th anniversary of Phil and Kay Robertson's marriage.

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ticket prices range from $10-$50 and may be purchased online at www.acu.edu/duck
