The Eagles ran into a team that was bigger and faster than they were at Shotwell Stadium, and Hebron went on to beat them Friday night, 37 to 7.
It was a tough way to start the season, but now it's time for move on and get ready for the next game.
Coach Warren said, "We've got to be a lot more consistent in a lot of areas. There were times that we played really well on both sides of the football. There were flashes of really good offensive production. We would make 3 of 4 1st downs in a row to make it look like we had a great drive going, and then we would shoot ourselves in the foot with a penalty. Same thing defensively. We'd get several stops in a row, and then give up a big play just because of poor tackling."
Duncanville is next for the Eagles. The Panthers just got through scoring 70 in their season opener. That game is in Duncanville at 7:30.
