Eastland Mavericks Boys Basketball Grabs Close Win Against Anson

In the first quarter, the game tied at 8, Caleb Hullum for the Mavericks gets the ball underneath for Trent Brittain. Brittain pivots, shoots, and sinks the shot to pull Eastland into the lead.

Later in the game, Anson still fighting to close the gap. Jalen Garza does the work by himself. He drives to the basket and gets the jumper to fall. The Tigers now only down by 5.

Right before the end of the half, Josh Moylan taking the ball down the baseline for Eastland. Dribbles under and around the basket, then gets the nice layup to fall. The Mavericks head into the lockerroom at halftime with a four point lead.

This one was close most of the night, but the Mavericks win it by five with a final score of 35-30. They are 18 and 3 on the season.
