A team from Guardian EMS is offering free ECG screenings to student athletes.
They began in Brownwood and Bangs and will move on to Santa Anna and Coleman.
They are doing it in honor of Cody Stephens, a football player near Houston who died from sudden cardiac arrest.
Cody's father is pushing for a legislation requiring student athletes to take these screenings before joining the team.
