Gravitt split time under center with Lorenzo Joe and played receiver in the game.
At quarterback, he rushed for 85 yards and 2 scores, and Gravitt was the leading receiver with 3 catches for 50 yards.
The Cougars senior is versatile and great asset for the team.
Cooper head coach Todd Moebes said, "We needed him to come and provide some of our quarterback running game. He was certainly able to do that, and we are real proud of him. You never know. It's a physical game. We had injuries when we played the game against Central, and Lorenzo had to come out. We don't bat and eye that he has to move from receiver one play to quarterback. It's a testament to him and his preparation for the game, mentally and physically. He's a huge part of this football team, and we are glad to have him."
You should look for more of the same on Friday against Arlington Lamar. The Cougars take on the Vikings at 7:30 at Shotwell Stadium.
