In particular, the year 1969 was a revolutionary era in American history where the nation saw peace protests, and the three-day festival, Woodstock. Also known as the Three Days of Peace and Music, Woodstock is a moment in history that defined hippie culture and illustrated what the country was going through at that time. People saw the first man landing on the moon and the turbulent Vietnam War.

With the help of Cumulus Broadcasting, The Bear 102, "Off Your Rocker" will showcase work from talented artists in Abilene. Main artists such as Terri Knight "The Queen" will have her work displayed as well as several others including Patty Rae Wellborn and Bird Thomas.

The rock n' roll art show will also have music provided by Three Shades Blue.
