BROWNWOOD, TX-The Brownwood Reunion kicked off Friday morning and it's their Hands On The House competition that's become an attraction for goers.

The annual contest's theme this year is old western attire. The goal of the contest is to have participants stand outside the house with their hands firmly placed on the exterior the longest.

The contest started Friday. No other body parts can touch the house. Contestants are allowed to switch hands, but both hands must be placed firmly on the house before lifting the other one off. Most of the contestants say that the first night was the hardest as they try to stay awake without sitting down.

Whoever is the last person to remove their hands will win the house. As of Saturday afternoon, fifteen out of twenty-three contestants remained.
