Most head football coaches have a special bond with their quarterbacks. For Hawley head coach Brad Schoonmaker that bond is a little different. His son, Travis Schoonmaker, takes the snaps for the Bearcats, and they say that gives them a huge advantage.

"We get to spend more time going over things alot of other coaches and quarterbacks don't get to because we be at home at ten o'clock at night and we're talking about something, or we have the film we can look at," Brad Schoonmaker said. "There's just a lot of times that we have just he and I riding back and forth to school, or Sunday afternoon when we're watching a game."

Travis Schoonmaker said "We're always with each other so we always just pop conversations of about the football game and what I need to do better, what I should look for and look at the defense."

"He knows our tendencies. He knows how well we can block and how much potential all of us have," Jackson Schoonmaker said. "We have great talent out here and we are ready to show it."
