The Yellow Jackets program has been down in the 10 years, but it looks like they are getting things turned around.

A winning streak is a big deal for the Brownwood school.

Howard Payne head coach Roger Giese said, "It's pretty significant around here because the last 3 years we've been 2-8, 1-9, 1-9, so obviously after 3 games, to be 2-1 and winning 2 of them back-to-back as been a very big boost to our program. We are going to have to bring our 'A' game, but I would think our kids have a little bit more confidence in what we can do and the ability to get some things done in a positive fashion. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game to this one."

Howard Payne gets an extra week to get ready for the start of American Southwest Conference play. They host Louisiana College next Saturday.
