HSU and Mississippi College Play Scoreless Draw In Men’s Soccer

ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons’ men’s soccer team played a scoreless draw for the fourth time in American Southwest Conference play this season, tying defending ASC champion Mississippi College 0-0 on Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.

ABILENE, Texas — Hardin-Simmons’ men’s soccer team played a scoreless draw for the fourth time in American Southwest Conference play this season, tying defending ASC champion Mississippi College 0-0 on Saturday afternoon at the HSU Soccer Complex.

The Cowboys outshot MC 19-6 and 10-2 on goal in the game.

Both goalkeepers kept their teams scoreless. Michael Vargas had a pair of saves for the Cowboys and Adam Pittman saved 10 shots for Mississippi College.

HSU is now 4-3-5 and 2-0-4 in ASC conference play. MC is now 7-3-2 and 3-0-2 in conference play. HSU will travel to Texas-Tyler and LeTourneau.
