game. Over the next 5:30 HSU exploded for a 21-5 run to give the Cowboys
the 21-point lead with 12:40 remaining.
Matt Addison went to the line a game high 20 times, accounting for 17
of his 25 total points. McMurry's Jaden Isler scored a team high 19
points, including a three-point
bucket with 40 seconds left on the clock to make the score 78-75. Walker
dominated the glass with 19 rebounds adding eight points on the night.
Steven Jones recorded 18 points and 16 rebounds adding two steals
loss drops McMurry to 7-2 overall with a 4-2 American Southwest
Conference record. HSU remains on top of the ASC West Division with the
win at 8-0 on the season and
6-0 in ASC play. McMurry returns to action December 30 against Eastern
New Mexico University in Portales, N.M. at 7 p.m.
