For college kids it's a little odd to play a game on a night that is dominated by high school football.

However, head coach Jesse Burleson says his guys are ready to go no matter what night they play.

Coach Jesse Burleson said, "You know some of our newcomers this is what they're used to, and all of our returners, they didn't think they'd ever play on another friday night so it's kinda a neat deal, we're really excited about it. It didn't really pose any problems because we've known about it for a long time so we just adjust to the schedule and got all of our work done and continue to prepare right up until game time"

Senior slot back Colton Brewer said, "It's just a chance for us to go as a unit, and really get a good test to where we are. We know going into this year we got big aspirations, big plans for this year, and it's a good measuring step to see where we've come through camp and how we're going to be throughout the year."

THE 2013 season starts on Friday night in Salem, Oregon against Willamette. The Bearcats beat the Cowboys last year, 58-34.
