The Albany Lions rose up to Class 2A on Friday night for a win on the road at Jim Ned.

The Lions would jump out to a 28-7 lead until the Indians started to rally.

First quarterback Tanner Locklear ran 65 yards for a touchdown to cut the Albany lead in half.

A short time later he ran it in from the goal line, and just like that Albany's lead was down to 28-20.

They would hold on though for the 43-26 victory against a Class 2A opponent.
