Brown County hosted a fun and spooky event for Halloween tonight. It was the second annual trick or treat trail. Wendlee Broadcasting and Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up again this year to put on the event. Lots of families came out for games and prizes. Different businesses had different games and of course on Halloween kids received lots of candy. There was also a costume contest that kids entered in. Some categories were most creative, family costume, and cutest baby costume. There was a hay maze for kids and a train ride that drove families around the downtown to trick or treat at local businesses. There were about twenty-eight businesses and organizations at the event. Last year the event had over thousand people attend. To create more space they closed down a part of Fisk St. Families usually like to come out because it's a safe environment for their kids to trick or treat. People also like it because it brings the community together.
