KRBC PM Eastern Forecast: Monday, November 11, 2013

A bitterly cold airmass will blast through the eastern Big Country late Monday night and linger through Wednesday...
Easily the coldest air we've seen this Autumn will blow through the eastern Big Country overnight Monday into Tuesday.  A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for TUESDAY NIGHT into WEDNESDAY MORNING.  Highs only around 40 for the eastern Big Country Tuesday with wind chills in the 30's and some light rain in the morning hours.  Skies clear Tuesday night, temperatures in the low to middle 20's are likely by Wednesday morning... a hard freeze which could damage plants and end the growing season.  Highs back in the low 50's with sunny skies on Wednesday.
