A Friday afternoon front brings a chance for rain, and cooler temperatures by Saturday morning.
While we enjoyed beautiful weather on Thursday, changes are coming on Friday. Clouds will increase Thursday night, mostly cloudy skies for Friday and a cold front will move through the Big Country Friday afternoon. It should produce widespread showers and thunderstorms with lightning the primary threat. Rain amounts won't be as heavy as what we saw early this week. Highs on Friday 70 to 75 across the eastern Big Country. The rain will make its way out of the southeastern Big Country Friday night and clear skies behind by early Saturday morning will allow temperatures to drop close to 40 degrees. The weekend weather looks nice, sunny both days with highs of 68 to 70 Saturday and 72-76 on Sunday in the eastern Big Country.
