Showers and thunderstorms will continue to pop up across the eastern Big Country Tuesday night through early Wednesday. A cold front will move through the eastern Big Country in the early morning hours of Wednesday, around sunrise through 9am. The front will take the rain with it, clouds will linger for a while, then gradual clearing as the day progresses. Temperatures in the eastern Big Country will only warm close to 60 on Wednesday with a north wind of 15 to 20mph so a chill in the air. Wednesday night and early Thursday morning expect widespread frost across the eastern Big Country with temperatures dropping to the middle 30's. Highs on Thursday should reach near 65 under sunny skies.
