An unstable airmass remained in place late Wednesday afternoon and with a front moving into the area by early Thursday morning, rain and thunderstorms remain in the forecast in the eastern Big Country. The heaviest rain should stay east of the Big Country (Interstate 35 from DFW to Austin and points east), however, the southern and eastern counties of the KRBC viewing area have a good chance to see measurable rain Wednesday night. A cold front will move through and take all the clouds with it Thursday morning, ending the chance for rain and ushering in a northwest wind. Lows early Thursday morning will vary, depending on the location of the front, but low to middle 60's in the eastern Big Country with afternoon highs in the middle 70's.
