High pressure resulted in gusty north winds but clear skies on Friday with Abilene's high temperature climbing to 74 degrees at 2:26pm. The Friday morning low was 47 at 7:07am. Going into the weekend, skies will remain clear until Sunday afternoon when clouds will increase from the southwest. The clouds will produce a few showers across West Texas Sunday night but more likely scattered, hit and miss showers in the Big Country Monday, Monday night and Tuesday. Temperatures this weekend will range from the low to middle 40's each morning and upper 60's to near 70 each afternoon. Wind will be light northerly Friday night after dusk, northeast and east Saturday at 5 to 15 and southeasterly 10 to 15 on Sunday.
