KRBC PM Forecast: Friday, November 8, 2013

Cool mornings and mild afternoons this weekend before an Arctic blast arrives early week...
Light fell across much of the Big Country Friday afternoon but it had mostly ended by 7:30 Friday night.  Clouds will remain Friday night into Saturday morning but a gradual decrease in clouds from north to south is expected Saturday.  Temperatures in the middle 40's will start the day Saturday with afternoon highs reaching the low 70's.  Upper 40's on Saturday night and low 70's again on Sunday.  Monday will also be in the low to middle 70's but a strong Arctic front will be bearing down on the Big Country by Monday night and will drop temperatures by 25 degrees or more.  Highs on Tuesday will be near 50, if not colder. Tuesday night lows may drop below freezing, easily our strongest front of the season.  There will be a slight chance for rain along the Front on Monday night into Tuesday.  Temperatures remain below normal Wednesday through Friday of next week.
