A strong storm system will make its way from the southwestern U.S., across the Rockies and into the Central Plains states by Wednesday. This will cause showers and storms to a lesser extent Tuesday but to a greater extent on Wednesday. Storms Wednesday could cause large hail, damaging wind and heavy rain. The rain moves east by late Wednesday night or Thursday morning leaving behind nice weather for trick or treaters Thursday night.
