A weak cool front eased down to Interstate 20 Monday afternoon, resulting in widespread showers and a few thunderstorms. Rainfall ranged from 3/10 here at KRBC to 1.50 inches on the north end of Lake Fort Phantom. Expect a low Monday night near 70 while Tuesday's high will be near 90. I also expect a few more showers and storms around on Tuesday, possibly some light showers in the morning then afternoon showers like Monday. I think we will see a break from the rain Wednesday (can't rule out a stray shower or two) then wait for tropical moisture, remnants from Ingrid, to work into West Central Texas on Thursday and Friday. Rain chances will increase to 40 percent Thursday and at least 40 percent on Friday, likely higher than that Friday as another cold front is progged to move into the area. Highs near 88 Thursday, 83 Friday. Friday night football games may be dealing with some wet weather so heads up.
