An upper level low was over Oklahoma City late Sunday night, moving southwest. A cold front was just to the south and southwest of the Big Country. Low level Gulf of Mexico moisture is pouring into the region, all setting the stage for heavy rain over the next 24 to 36 hours. A Flash Flood Watch will include all the Big Country from midnight Monday morning through 7pm Monday evening. Rainfall amounts are forecast to average 1 to 3 inches across the area. But training of storms over the same area, time and time again, could produce rain amounts in excess of 3 inches. Stay alert to the latest weather updates here on Bigcountryhomepage.com.
