Friday begins with temperatures in the middle 20's and will end with temperatures in the middle 50's. That is warmer than the middle 40's we had Thursday, but due to gusty south wind on Friday, there will be a chill in the air all day. The warmest day over the next seven days will be Saturday with highs in the middle 60's. Late day Saturday, another strong cold front will usher in air from Canada and Sunday will be cold and windy with highs in the upper 30's at best. By Monday morning, temperatures in the upper teens are forecast followed by highs only in the middle 30's on Monday. Since regular cold fronts are moving through and taking any sign of Gulf of Mexico moisture with them, the forecast remains dry through the middle of next week. One of our forecast models is trying to hint at a low pressure area by next weekend, perhaps dropping farther south and coming in from the southwest which would pull more moisture into the area and give us a chance for rain next weekend IF the model is correct.
