Rain expected Friday then a chill start to your weekend...
A cold front will move through the Big Country Friday afternoon and scattered showers and a few storms are expected with it.  Some showers could occur Friday morning across the northern Big Country, towns like Knox City, Haskell, and Throckmorton.  But the best chance for rain is along the front Friday afternoon and evening.  Areas along and south of I-20 could see rain at football games Friday night.  Temperatures Friday from 54 in the morning to near 70 in the afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.  Skies clear Friday night, cold air moves in with high pressure, and temperatures as cold as 39 by early Saturday morning.  Expect beautiful weather this weekend with highs around 68 Saturday, 47 Saturday night and 73 on Sunday under clear skies.  Another front on Monday reinforces our cooler than normal temperatures and brings another slight chance for a few showers.
