Wednesday night could be the coldest night of Fall so far as Frost Advisories are in effect for most of the Big Country, except the northwestern counties. In the northwest, a Freeze Warning has been issued for the early morning hours of Thursday. Residents across the Big Country should make sure plants are covered or moved indoors to protect tender vegegation from the cold and possible ice. After the cold morning, expect highs to approach 65 Thursday afternoon and 68 by Friday. Highs this weekend will be in the low 70's. After a clear day on Thursday expect clouds to move in from the southwest on Friday then pass on through and leave us with nice weekend weather. By early to mid next week, more rain is possible and forecast models are already hinting at a strong cold front about next Wednesday.
