Rain and storms still possible until very early Thursday, then clearing....
Abilene totally missed out on rain during the day Wednesday, aside from a few sprinkles, but the chance for rain will remain in the forecast through early Thursday morning.  As a cold front approaches West Central Texas Wednesday night, a final round of showers and storms will be possible.  After the front Thursday morning, skies will quickly clear and a sunny day can be expected.  Lows in the morning in the middle to upper 50's, highs Thursday afternoon in the low to middle 70's.  Wind will be gusty from the northwest 10 to 20 mph.  For Halloween trick or treating, temperatures in the 60's early in the evening but in the mid 50's by late in the evening, under clear skies.  By Friday morning, look for lows in the middle 40's.  Nice weather Friday and Saturday with highs 70 to 75.  Sunday, clouds return from the southwest as our next storm system brings a slight chance for rain late Sunday, Monday into Tuesday.
