The western Big Country can expect a cooler day on Christmas Day, highs in the middle to upper 40's, thanks to the arrival of an early morning cold front. While a few clouds are possible, it is not expected to bring precipitation. A chilly 26 degrees Wednesday night followed by 55 Thursday. Mostly sunny skies prevail Thursday, Friday and Saturday with highs by Friday near 60 and in the low 60's on Saturday. We will get another cold front Sunday and highs drop back to the 40's.
