KRBC PM Western Forecast: Tuesday, November 19, 2013

Enjoy the warmth Wednesday and Thursday, brace for much colder weather Friday through early next week.
Warm and windy weather in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday.  Mornings lows in the middle 50's to near 60, afternoon highs middle to upper 70's.  An arctic cold front will blast the western Big Country Thursday night.  It should bring a few light showers Friday with highs on Friday from upper 30's to low 40's and temperatures at or below freezing by Friday night into Saturday morning.  Also note that gusty north wind Friday of 20 to 30 mph will lead to wind chills in the 20's.  IF, on Friday night into Saturday morning, there is any moisture in the air, it COULD perhaps turn over to a wintry mix but amounts should be light.. It is something to monitor.  Highs this weekend in the low 40's, isolated showers Saturday and Sunday but not much rain this weekend.  Looks like Monday an upper level low will pass over and give the Western Big Country a better chance for showers.
